They Broke it. And they Broke Us!

American capitalism is broken, but it is not beyond saving.

Over the past several decades, a small handful of corporate oligopolies, financial cartels, and billionaires have systematically captured our regulatory institutions and rigged the economic rules of our nation. Through corrupt tax loopholes, predatory financial schemes, and backroom political capture, they have legally siphoned off trillions of dollars in collective American wealth.

While the middle class shoulders the tax burden to pay for our roads, our military, our courts, and our infrastructure, the ultra-wealthy use rigged loopholes to pay virtually zero percent in income taxes. They have consolidated independent industries into impenetrable monopolies, crushed Main Street entrepreneurs, and suppressed working-class wages.

This is not a free market. This is an economic aristocracy.

The Middle-Out Freedom Front rejects the failed philosophy of trickle-down economics, which falsely promised that enriching the top would help the bottom. Instead, it created a stagnant pool of hoarded wealth. We do not want to destroy the capitalist system; we want to liberate it from the cronies who have captured it. True capitalism does not protect monopolies; it protects competition. True capitalism does not pool wealth at the top; it grows dynamically from the middle out.

We are reclaiming the legacy of visionary American capitalist heroes—industrial titans who understood that a company’s greatest asset is its workforce, and that hoarded dynastic wealth destroys the spirit of free enterprise.

We draw inspiration from Andrew Carnegie, one of the greatest industrial titans in human history, who explicitly argued in The Gospel of Wealth that the ultra-wealthy must be heavily taxed upon death, declaring that leaving massive, unearned fortunes to children was deeply counterproductive and poisoned the meritocratic spirit of American capitalism.

We channel the spirit of Henry Ford, who shocked the corporate establishment by doubling his workers' wages to $5 a day so they could actually afford to buy the cars they built, triggering the greatest industrial boom in human history. We look to the historic Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, which built a massive global industrial empire not through exploitation, but by constructing thousands of quality brick homes, schools, and parks for its workforce.

We do not need to raise a single penny of taxes on the working class to build a fairer America.

By unrigging the tax code at the top, we will reclaim those siphoned trillions to fully fund a high-velocity, middle-out economy where honest work is rewarded, labor is valued, and small businesses can thrive.

Capitalism is Broken but not the American Spirit. Here is How we Can Fix it!

End the "Buy, Borrow, Die" tax loophole that allows the ultra-wealthy to avoid income tax entirely. Congress must pass a law to severely limit securities based lending. Stop billionaires from using massive stock portfolios as collateral for untaxed, low-interest lines of credit to fund their lifestyles.Enact strict financial transparency laws requiring securities-backed loans over a certain threshold to be treated and taxed as realized income and thus recapturing the trillions needed to fund this platform. Dismantle Oligopolistic Systems & Restore Free Competition:Aggressively break up massive corporate cartels and conglomerates that currently choke out local and independent competitors. Block predatory, anti-competitive mergers designed solely to eliminate promising startups before they can scale into true market rivals.Ban algorithmic price-fixing and digital self-preferencing to ensure a level playing field for everyone. Abolish Corporate-Paid Health Insurance:Sever the forced connection between employment and healthcare to completely unburden American businesses.Free companies from the crushing financial and administrative overhead of negotiating corporate health plans.Allow businesses to redirect billions of dollars in saved insurance premiums directly into higher wages, workforce training, and capital investments. Establish Universal Healthcare for All:Replace the broken, inefficient private insurance bureaucracy with a universal healthcare system.Guarantee comprehensive coverage for every American citizen, ensuring no worker is ever stuck in a bad job just to keep medical coverage. Create a truly mobile workforce where entrepreneurs have the freedom to take risks, launch startups, or change careers without fear of losing healthcare.Guarantee Paid Parental and Maternity Leave:Implement a federal paid leave program to support families during the critical months following a birth or adoption.Level the playing field for employers by creating a centralized, state-backed fund so small businesses do not bear the full financial brunt when an employee takes leave. Strengthen families and the workforce by ensuring parents can care for their newborn children without facing financial ruin or job loss.Implement Pro-Worker Labor Reforms:Protect the right to organize and collectively bargain, ensuring workers have the leverage to negotiate a fair share of the wealth they create. Ban mandatory "captive audience" anti-union meetings and penalize corporations that illegally fire or retaliate against organizing workers Ban non-compete agreements across all income levels to give workers total economic mobility to sell their labor to the highest bidder.Outlaw the practice of misclassifying employees as independent contractors, ensuring all working-class citizens get the legal protections and benefits they earn.Enact "Middle-Out" Wealth-Building Reform:Establish federal tax incentives for companies that share equity or profits with 100% of their workforce, turning workers into true capitalists.Tie future corporate tax breaks directly to localized middle-class wage growth and domestic job creation, rather than stock buybacks.Expand the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) into a robust, monthly working-family dividend funded directly by closing billionaire tax loopholes.Incentivize Small Business Growth:Slash the bureaucratic red tape and expensive permitting processes that corporate giants use to gatekeep the market.Introduce aggressive tax exemptions for new, independent businesses during their first three years of operation. Modernize capital markets to make it easier for community-driven enterprises and small businesses to access low-cost capital without surrendering ownership to Wall Street.
