The New Democrats is an initiative aimed at generating and injecting fresh ideas to help shape the future direction of the Democratic Party. These ideas will embody a 'threading the needle' approach, which seeks to change the language of political engagement and reprioritizes the party's goals moving forward.

Threading the needle means reshaping how we talk about progressive ideas to make them more resonant with voters in purple and red districts across our state. The broader purpose is to influence the course of party politics—whether through a gust, a nudge, or a firm push.

We are looking for thoughtful forward looking individuals to meet for brainstorming sessions and communication strategies that fulfill the stated aims.
